Remote Online Notary

Did you know about RON?

Remote Online Notarization Explained:

Remote Online Notarization (RON) allows documents to be notarized completely online using secure audio-video technology—no in-person visit required.

As of today, 47 U.S. states have authorized or are actively implementing RON laws, making it a widely accepted and legally recognized method of notarization across the country.

Important to Know

Important to Know
RON must be performed through state-authorized platforms. As a licensed Remote Online Notary, I use compliant systems that meet all Florida legal requirements, including Proof, SIGNiX, Notarize, Smart eNotary, BlueNotary, DocMagic, DocuSign, and PandaDoc, ensuring your documents are handled securely and legally.

How the Process Works

  1. Upload Your Document
You send your document electronically before the appointment.

  2. Identity Verification
    Your identity is confirmed through:

    • Government-issued ID

    • Knowledge-based authentication (security questions)

    • Credential analysis

  3. Live Video Session
You connect with the notary (me) through a secure platform.

  4. Electronic Signature & Notarization
You sign digitally, and the notary applies an electronic seal and signature.

  5. Completed Document Delivered
You receive a notarized PDF ready for use or apostille.

Is It Legal and Secure?

Yes. RON is governed by state laws (including Florida law) and uses encrypted, recorded sessions to ensure full compliance and protection.

Documents notarized online are legally valid and widely accepted, including for:

  • Real estate transactions

  • Power of attorney

  • Business agreements

  • International use (with apostille)
